Monday: A Heart Made Holy Scripture: Matthew 21:12-13 As Jesus entered the temple, He saw what others had grown numb to-corruption in the house of God. In holy anger, He cleared out the distractions so that worship could be restored. Our hearts, too, can become cluttered. We let sin, selfishness, or busyness rob God of the sacred space He desires.
Today, Jesus walks into the temple of your heart. He comes not to condemn, but to cleanse. Let Him overturn whatever needs to go so He can dwell in a place of peace, prayer, and purity.
Prayer: Lord, sweep through the corners of my heart. Remove what doesn't belong, and make me holy, Yours alone. Amen.
Tuesday: Faith That Sees Beyond Scripture: Mark 11:20-24 Jesus spoke to a fig tree, and by the next day, it withered. The disciples marveled, but Jesus wasn't just showing power-He was teaching them about faith. Faith sees what's not yet visible. It believes in God's promises when circumstances scream otherwise.
Today, you may face something that seems immovable. But Jesus says, "Have faith in God." You're not alone. The One who withers trees and calms storms still hears your prayers.
Prayer: Jesus, help me trust You even when I don't see the answer yet. Grow my faith. Strengthen my heart. Move my mountain. Amen
Wednesday: When It Feels Like God Is Silent Scripture: Matthew 26:14-16 Wednesday is quiet in the gospel timeline. No sermons. No miracles. Just silence-and betrayal. Judas plotted in secret while Jesus prepared His heart.
Maybe you've had those silent days too-when heaven seems still and pain whispers louder than hope. Remember, Jesus understands. In the silence, He draws near. God is never absent, even when He is quiet.
Prayer: Father, in my silent moments, help me hear Your whisper. When I don't understand, help me still believe. Amen
Thursday: The Love That Stoops Low Scripture: John 13:4-5, 12-17 Jesus knelt. The King of creation wrapped a towel around His waist and washed dirty feet. He touched what was unclean and loved what others would overlook. On this holy Thursday, Jesus invites us to love like that-to serve without status, to forgive without holding back, and to pour out grace freely. Love stoops. Love sees. Love serves.
Prayer: Jesus, teach me to love the way You love. Make me a servant, not just in words, but in action. Help me kneel today. Amen.
Friday: Love That Was Willing to Die Scripture: John 19:16-30 He didn't have to go to the cross. But love made Him do it. Nails didn't hold Him-love did.
On this Good Friday, we look to the cross and see the weight of our sin, the depth of His mercy, and the width of His love.
It's called "Good" not because of what He suffered, but because of what it accomplished: our forgiveness, our freedom, our future. Prayer: Thank You, Jesus. Thank You for the cross. Thank You for loving me enough to die for me. I will never forget. Amen.
Saturday: When Hope Seems Buried Scripture: Matthew 27:62-66 The tomb was sealed. The disciples were scattered. Saturday was a day of stillness, silence, and sorrow. But just because you can't see movement doesn't mean God isn't working.
God does some of His greatest miracles in the waiting. If you feel like you're in the "Saturday" of life, remember-Sunday is coming.
Prayer: God, help me to trust You in the waiting. When I don't see the answer, remind me You are still at work. Amen.
Sunday: The Day Everything Changed Scripture: Luke 24:1-6 "He is not here. He is risen!" The stone was rolled away-not so Jesus could get out, but so we could go in and see that He's alive! Death was defeated. Hope was reborn. The empty tomb changes everything.
Because He lives, we have a future. Because He lives, we can face our darkest moments. Because He lives, we are never truly alone.
Prayer: Risen Savior, You are alive! And because You live, I live too. Help me walk in resurrection power every day. Amen.
