We are a small non-denominational church on the edge of Ozark, Alabama. We bear host to several communities like Echo, Brown's Crossroads, Newton, Pinckard and Midland City, Alabama.

Legend of Bill Sketoe

The legend of Bill Sketoe is about a circuit riding methodist minister that met his fate in the neaby town of Newton, Alabama. He is buried at Mt Carmel Church cemetery and has been an attraction to many over the years.

Sunday Worship

Join us every Sunday for an uplifting and inspiring worship service. Experience heartfelt worship, engaging sermons, and a welcoming community. Sunday School -10am. Morning Services - 11am. Evening Services - 6pm.

Young Adult and Youth Fellowship

Our church is dedicated to encouraging, teaching, and mentoring our young people. This group is for High School/Teen to College/Young Adult. Join us for YAY Sunday evenings at 5pm.

Bible Study

Dive deeper into the Word of God with our weekly Bible study sessions. Open to all, these gatherings foster learning the Word of God and spiritual growth. Join us on Wednesday night at 7pm.

Discipleship Training

In depth Bible study to learn how to fulfill the Great Commission in Matthew 28:18-20. "Go therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen." Join us Sunday evenings at 5pm

Communion Sundays

We celebrate Communion, The Lord's Supper, quarterly. We do this in remembrance of the death of Christ: "This do in remembrance of me." To signify, seal, and apply to believers all the benefits of the new covenant. We believe the Lord's table is open to all who believe and repent.

A member of our church family has traveled to Ashville, North Carolina, to help with hurricane recovery. We want to support his efforts as well as tend to the needs of the people of Ashville. If you can gather some of the items on the flyer and get it to church by Sunday, we appreciate it. If you want to give monetarily, our treasure, Jeff Woodham will be glad to use your proceeds and shop for the needed items and get it on the truck by Tuesday afternoon. Hebrews 6:10: "God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them".

Bring a friend. Bring your family, Just bring someone! Inviting someone to church is great. But offer to pick them up and bring them. Make a day of it and take them to lunch afterwards. Let them see that you really want them there with you.
